Here are the most common FAQ's that we get. Feel free to contact us if you have further question's

Do you have demo/rental skis available?

Yes. We offer rental/demo skis to any student that wishes to try something new. We will set up a ski for you and we also have a full selection of bindings to try. We primarily stock a full selection of skis and bindings from H.O. However we can get you ski's from Radar and D3.

If I'm sending my child for a week, how much money would they need?

We typically take our students out a few times during the week. These activities include but not limited to movies, shopping, go karts, mini golf, bowling and paintball. We also take the students to the grocery store so they can get whatever snacks, drinks or other supplies they need while on site. If your child is staying over a weekend we typically take our students to one of the theme parks. We also do not provide meals on Saturday or Sunday. We recommend $50-$100 at the minimum. If your child needs additional funds we are happy to accommodate them and will add these funds to the final bill.

What other activities are on-site other than skiing?

Before, during and after your sets we offer a variety of activities to do to keep you entertained. We have a gym and flex bands so you can stretch and get ready for the day or wind down after your sets. We have a basketball hoop to get your game on! We have SUP's (stand up paddle boards) to cruise around the lake on. If your feeling good and want to challenge the other students we have a beach volleyball court. For our gamers we have a PlayStation hooked up with FIFA, COD, NHL, Madden as well as other games. If you feel like just relaxing on the couch we have DIRECTV with various movies to enjoy.

What do I need to bring while staying on-site or in a villa?

While staying here at Sunset Lakes' we recommend that you bring towels, sunscreen, bathing suits, flip flops/sandals and duct tape for the dock. In the bunk house we provide sheets and pillows. We suggest you bring all necessary toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste/toothbrush and soap.   Villas are fully equipped just like your home.

Is there a pick up/drop off fee from the airport?

Yes there is a fee of $75 arriving and departing. We know that you are trying to find the best possible flight and sometimes that means arriving or departing at unusual times. In this case the fee will be $150 per person each way. This fee applies to any arrival after 10pm or departure before 8am. Please note that a taxi/uber will cost you $120 and up for a one way fee and sometimes will not accommodate 3 event bags. If we are picking up an "Unaccompanied Minor" the fee is $150 each way. Airline policy states we must meet the "Minor" at the gate upon arrival and on departure airline policy states we must stay with the "Minor" until he/she boards the plane

Is your ski school only for advanced skiers?

You would be surprised how many times we get asked this question. We cater to all levels of skiers. We enjoy teaching beginners and love to see that smile on their face when they get up for the first time or run the course for the first time. We enjoy showing new people how amazing this sport is and hope they get hooked and continue to be on the water.

Do you offer any coaching off site?

Yes we do offer coaching off site in a variety of ways. We are currently working on video coaching. We will be able to view the videos you send in and we can then analyze it and give you feedback. This is a great tool especially if you are far away from us and need a few pointers. We are also available to come to your place and watch you ski at your own site. We are able to offer our services to an individual or a group setting. This way you have all the comforts of your own lake, boat or home and have us there to fine tune your skiing. Please call (352.429.9027) or email us h2oskijacks@aol.com for pricing and availability of these services.
